The game freezes on me as often as every 15 minutes

The same thing is happening to me right now. I not only lost my streak, but all active items I had at the time (Card of Geography Questions, Card of Time and another one I cannot recall). I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, Google Chrome 9.0.570.1.

Actually, it is not totally frozen : I can still open the loot bags or the leaderboard, but I cannot take any item or display the stats (leaderboard stuck on "loading")

Thanks everyone for reporting this! We've seen this behavior before and are still trying to figure out why and how this is happening. Please don't hesitate to give us more details if you find a way to reproduce the freeze issue.

I'm sorry bout that Jen, it sounds real frustrating. I assure you though that we want to solve the problem, but since it's not occuring in the office it's hard to tell what's causing the problem. Are you using Firefox also?

The same problem with Chrome, both in Windows XP and latest Ubuntu. Also, equipment changes do not actually take effect nor are they preserved after logout. I love the game but end up most unhappy every time.

freeze problem here too. On windows vista.

I was so excited to find this game but it's almost not worth playing at all! Takes forever to load and then constantly freezes when I'm answering questions. But I can click on other areas in the game. It just freezes the question part. I'm running Windows 7 and Chrome. I have a great internet connection. Looks like you guys have been trying to fix this problem for months now. What's the deal?

I'm sorry about that queennicole! We've been dealing with this problem for months and every time we think we've found the solution to the problem we get a new bug report. We are having a hard time reproducing the bug in the office so that's why we have troubles determining what it might be. I know it's frustrating, and I assure you that it's as frustrating for us as well; not being able to fix it. What I can say is that we are trying to fix it but unfortunately I can't give you an answer to when it will be fixed.

I was playing Question set on Proverbs, and the quiz was midway with 2 questions asked, and it got stuck on me, It didnt allow me to play the full quiz and it shows in my profile as i answered 2/10 questions, it was a quiz which i would have done well, i request you to let me play it again the Question set on Proverbs. And again this happened on the quiz set on Sherlock Holmes, which I was confident of playing well. The server froze and I couldnt play it after playing 5/11 questions. But the record shows as I played it.

have excatly the same problem! Question will freeze meaning that it won't go to the next question, give me the answer, sometimes questions are skipped I see the answers and topic but then time's up before the question shows up. When the question freeze I can still switch game modes but I am not able to do anything. The on;y option left is to refresh the page and start again. This is happening very often like every 5 minutes. Really frustrating.

It has also happened to me today when I have claimed my quest reward. I can't keep playing and I don't get the rewards. Besides, it's impossible to log out in order to relog again.
By the way, Alfred Nonyme is right: the leaderboard is stuck on "loading" because of the game freeze.

EDIT: I have got online and I have realised that I have lost all the rewards of the quest (except the points).

We've had several different freeze issues, many of we have fixed so I need to know what how it occurs this time. Is it safe to assume that all the freezing issues occur in the infinite quiz or while playing a quiz? In other words, does it happen in the multiplayer mode also for any of you?

When the game freezes for some of you it might be because there is some kind of conflict which makes the game think that it's paused, when it's not. So when the freeze happens try opening and closing the leaderboard, this forces the game out of the pause, this might solve the freeze issue for some of you.

That the leaderboard freezes sounds like server issues. What would help immensely is if you could give us the exact time when the leaderboard freeze occurs next time. We will then be able to track it down and possibly see what is causing it.

Start the game with http://play.planeto.com?unfreeze and click the "UNFREEZE" -button if/when the game gets stuck. This will help us identify what the underlying cause of the problem is.
